K33PS is an LA-based cultural platform built around things worth keeping.
K33PS reinterprets iconic characters, stories and ideas through contemporary objects and experiences across collectibles, fashion, technology, design and culture.
Some things are made to be consumed. Some things are made to be replaced. And some things stay with us.
They become part of our memories, our spaces and sometimes our identity.
K33PS explores what makes something worth keeping — and creates new ways to experience the characters and stories people already care about.

WHAT DOES K33PS MEAN?
The name K33PS comes from the idea of KEEP.
To keep something means more than simply owning it.
We keep objects because they carry meaning. We keep characters because they remind us of a moment, a feeling or a part of ourselves. We keep stories because we continue to connect with them.
K33PS brings familiar cultural icons into the present through new forms, objects and experiences.

We begin with a character, a story or an idea.
What is worth preserving?
What can be reinterpreted?

That may become a collectible, fashion, technology, an installation or a physical experience.
The story determines the form.
WE DON’T PUT CHARACTERS ON PRODUCTS.
WE TURN CHARACTERS INTO OBJECTS.
Instead of treating IP as decoration, we look for recognizable elements within a character and explore how those elements can become the object itself.
A boot can become a charger. A hairstyle can become the structure of a hood. A character on a screen can become a physical presence beside you. An iconic figure can become a monumental design object.

The K33PS ASTRO BOY Hoodie takes one of ASTRO BOY’s most recognizable features — his iconic hairstyle — and turns it into part of the garment itself.
The hood is designed to evoke ASTRO BOY’s distinctive hair silhouette, bringing the character to life through form rather than relying only on a conventional graphic treatment.

What is K33PS?
“K33PS is a cultural platform built around a simple idea: the things we choose to keep.

We all own a lot of things, but only a small number of them stay meaningful to us over time.

K33PS takes those characters and stories and reinterprets them through objects and experiences that feel relevant today.

We want to create things people don’t just buy. We want to create things they want to keep.”
Why ASTRO BOY?
“ASTRO BOY is a perfect example of an icon people have kept across generations.

Different generations may have discovered him in different ways, but the character remains immediately recognizable.

We wanted to preserve that identity and give people a new way to experience it.”
Why WHITE ASTRO BOY?
“White gave us a blank canvas.

Once you remove much of the familiar color, you start noticing the shape of the character again.

The silhouette becomes stronger. The boots become stronger. The expression becomes stronger. And the heart becomes especially noticeable.

We weren’t adding more information to the character. We were removing information so people could look at ASTRO BOY again.”
Why create ASTRO BOY at so many different scales?
“Scale changes the relationship you have with an object.

At 10.5 feet, ASTRO BOY becomes almost architectural. At 24 inches, he begins to feel like a presence standing beside you. At 11 inches, he becomes a collectible you can place in your own space. And as a keyring, he becomes something you can carry every day.

It’s the same character, but each scale creates a completely different relationship.”
Why turn ASTRO BOY’s boots into a charger?
“We didn’t want to make a charger and simply put ASTRO BOY graphics on it.

We looked at the character and asked what part of him could actually become an object.

The red boots are instantly recognizable. So instead of putting the character on the product, the character became the product.”
What was the idea behind the ASTRO BOY Hoodie?
“Rather than beginning with a graphic, we looked at one of the most recognizable parts of ASTRO BOY — his hair.

We translated that silhouette into the hood itself.

We want the identity of the character to shape the object, not simply decorate it.”
Why ComplexCon?
“ComplexCon is a place where categories naturally overlap.

Fashion can exist next to art. Collectibles can exist next to music. Design can exist next to entertainment.

Instead of explaining K33PS through a presentation, we wanted people to walk into the space and understand it.”
What happens after ComplexCon?
“ComplexCon is the introduction.

We want to continue building K33PS through selective IP collaborations, creators, brands, physical experiences and direct relationships with our community.

We’re not interested in doing as many collaborations as possible. We want to create collaborations people remember.”
